Some extremely basic terminology...

Theist: believes in a god(s).
Deist: believes in a god(s) that created the universe but subsequently abandoned it and/or believes that reason and observation of the natural world are sufficient to determine the existence of god(s).
Atheist: does not believe in a god(s).
Agnostic: does not claim to know if a god exists or believes that such knowledge cannot be known, depending on the definition. Typically when I personally use this label I'm referring to the former.
Gnostic: claims to know one way or the other if a god exists.

There are some more but that's the basics down. I'm an agnostic atheist. What are you and why?

I think it's just better to believe BUT not put so much faith in god, atheist have told me when you die you are in your own peaceful world correct me if i'm wrong. But when i die i don't want to be that body that just rots there, or ending up in hell because i didn't believe, OR i wouldn't want to be just that dead body on the hospital bed or on the floor and had believed in god and he's not real, and me going into heaven and everybody that didn't believe ending up in hell. All you can really ask for is peace, i want to see all my family that has passed away and wait for the rest of family so we can all be together, i hope wherever we go to when we die is peaceful... It can be in hell or heaven as long as we are together that's what counts in the end

Why is it better to believe? Is ignorance bliss?

Atheism doesn't say anything above an afterlife. Skepticism does however, and it's utterly absurd.

Why do you not consider mere nonexistence an option?

This is simple stuff - Pascal's Wager argument - So tell me which is the correct God/s and Religion to believe in? I would really like to go to heaven, but there are just so many to choose from! Which one is the truth and which are false?

I could never answer that question but, if you really wan't to be somewhere peaceful when you die i suggest you look through all the religions and see which 'heaven' is right for you... i don't have a better answer sorry...

believing is okay but if you don't believe something what happens if a 'god' is real and you spent all your life on facts.

Where would i end up? in some place that nobody is there and it is just me... i would go insane trying to kill my self every second i got a chance 2... So to bring something up like that is fucked up 2 me. I don't know if you guys like being something at all or like being by your self... i couldn't handle it.

That isn't what nonexistence is. You wouldn't have a consciousness, and you wouldn't 'be' anywhere. You just wouldn't exist. I know that's difficult to grasp, naturally. Just try to remember what it was like before you were born (you can't... because 'you' didn't exist) - yeah, like that.

There is only one truth and that is having faith in Jesus. Think about it this way you take Jesus and The Cross out of Christianity and the religion crumbles but you take out a central figure in the other religions and you still have that religion.

So lets go back and answer these questions about what you just said If God enslaves people why would He do it? Was the fruit taken really an apple? How does God=Evil how do you come to this conclusion? Basically what you are saying is you dont like people telling you what to do? So if a cop were to pull you over for speeding you would say this cop is an idiot because I should drive as fast as I want even though the sign is posted what the limit is
