A 14 year old boy from Russia beat his Dad to death while he was sleeping, after he was banned from playing video games. His keyboard was removed by his parents after he'd been playing on his computer for a week. After seeing what the boy had done, his mother gave him back the keyboard, and he played games for several more hours until he fell asleep. At this point, the mother phoned the police. In Russia, he can be charged for murder, despite his young age.
Yes, it's another 'gaming goes horribly wrong' incident, but you can't deny they're becoming more frequent. What I find the worst is how he CONTINUED to game, even after bludgeoning his own father to death, the mother must've been scared to death.

Not many people know, but Addiction to Technology is different from other addictions. Its actrually classified as a disorder. And its finding up in more people every year. Its starting to become a huge deal. There was like a video I watched on YT, going really in depth with it. Ill try to find.

At first I was like, what a douchbag of a mother! How could she give him his keyboard back??? You made a good point though. After walking in on that grisly scene it probably scared the hell out of her! I couldn't imagine what was going through her mind other than keeping that sledgehammer away from her mind. What a crazy world we live in.

This makes me want to flat out cry. I thought video games/others have thought video games have taken over their lives but this? All of the other incidents? Wow, thanks to the devil A.K.A technology these days people have just been crazy and I find it ridiculous! I think that the playstation and all other systems should put a one to two hour max on playing time with warnings in between letting the player know how much longer they have and at the end of the time the system shuts off for a certain amount of time.
