Sony Can Completely Disable Your PS3
Sony is doing everything in their power to prevent piracy on the PS3. They already said that they would "fix the issues through network updates". They've even sued Geohot and Fail0verflow.
But now they may be aiming the ban hammer at psn users. After all, Sony has way more access to our PS3's then you think. Every time you turn on your PS3 a log gets sent to Sony. This can potentially show them any homebrew apps your running.
But just banning consoles isn't all, we've all known that for awhile. Now, Sony can completely disable your console if they wanted to so, whether you’re online or offline, you PS3 will remain completely nonfunctional.
If Sony can't fix this CFW expect a wave of bans to come. I'm not trying to scare you, just warning you.

This wont happen as people will stop buying ps3's and since most of the PSN is ran by Nubs who think there amazing cos they host i used CFW but was saving up for a JB so sony will lose alot of customers from it

When you buy a ps3 it's yours, so I think you can do anything with it except that i think there is something in the agreement from the software you use on it to keep from altering...I think:black:

Since Sony can remove the official firmware because you are using CFW wouldn't that mean they are essentially removing firmware than doesn't belong to them if they do?

Infact sony can revoke your rights to the Ps3 system as a whole, you only buy a contract to use the ps3, as with games such as the much loved Black ops :L and i'd say all games so it isnt against the law for them to do anything they want to what they legally own, trust me i know for a fact nobody that has posted here knows more about the laws on this than sony to be honest so im sure anything they have the power to do, will be completely LEGAL!!
