In recent weeks LG have claimed the PlayStation 3 infringes on a number of its patents relating to Blu-ray technology, and they have managed to secure a preliminary injunction against Sony for customs to seize and confiscate all PS3s coming into Europe for up to ten days, granted by the civil court of justice in the Hague. The consoles are reportedly being temporarily held in Dutch warehouses until the case moves forward.

The Guardian believes retailers will have enough PS3s to last two to three weeks. Sony have the right to file an appeal to the patents office - but if the court eventually rule in favour of LG, Sony will be forced to compensate the company for every PlayStation 3 which has been sold around the world to this day.

I hope Sony get sued for sueing Geohot and for letting me get banned from simply replacing my EBBOT.BIN. I'm swapping my PS3 for bros Xbox anyway, Xbox looks ALOT better even though I've been on Playstation since Playstation 1, but, I can't say one console is deffinately better yet because I haven't owned both yet...
