In recent weeks LG have claimed the PlayStation 3 infringes on a number of its patents relating to Blu-ray technology, and they have managed to secure a preliminary injunction against Sony for customs to seize and confiscate all PS3s coming into Europe for up to ten days, granted by the civil court of justice in the Hague. The consoles are reportedly being temporarily held in Dutch warehouses until the case moves forward.

The Guardian believes retailers will have enough PS3s to last two to three weeks. Sony have the right to file an appeal to the patents office - but if the court eventually rule in favour of LG, Sony will be forced to compensate the company for every PlayStation 3 which has been sold around the world to this day.

why do you think it took lg about 5 years to sue sony?

it probably cause they wanted sony to sell more consoles so they could get more

Kiss my ass, i don't feel pity for any hacker on this site if they get punished, the word "Hacking" alone is something that shouldn't be done, like i said.
