You can mod your GT5 save file to change the horsepower on the cars. I am dying to figure this out. Apparently it's done through hex with the GT5.0 file from your save (perhaps it has to be decrypted first) . I am going to begin experimenting now. If anyone gets on to something please share! And I will share any progress I make as well.

You can't do the perma-borrow glitch without deleting Game Data unfortunately.

If someone else wants to release an editor that it's fine.
I will be waiting for a patch.

Some guys around here genuinely know their shit. Most people are here to follow a tut. (no problem)
But, there is alot of guys running around pretending they know their shit.

I could compile a list, with links to their posts and we could enjoy many lols, but I don't have the time.

If you really really really need to have hybrids online before it is patched.

  1. Get your friends to gift you pre-hybrided cars, then drive them.
  2. Get your friends to gift you pre-hybrided cars, then compare it to a normal car in a Hex-editor
  3. Find a program or build a program to count instances of byte patterns, so you can find your way around the file.
  4. Use a debug console & RTE
  5. Figure it out.
  6. Ask someone to figure it out.(Choose carefully)
  7. Wait for someone to figure it out and tell you.
  8. Wait for someone to make an editor
  9. Wait for it to be patched, I will give you my editor for free.

Trial and error has got the better of me throughout the past few days and I'm now giving it a rest due to my lack of knowledge and understanding the save :p

Decrypted with some program then hexing...

Or (The best solution IMO)

CFW PS3 with extracted the game ? (Found some very interesting forum with [Hidden GT5 Cars/Parts] etc. )

I'm with - BruteForce/Decrypt & HxD

values only seem to change cosmetic way -.- getting kinda suspicious if it was done in OFW...
