Apparently it's done through hex with the GT5.0 file from your save (perhaps it has to be decrypted first) . I am going to begin experimenting now. If anyone gets on to something please share! And I will share any progress I make as well.

First post over here, gtplanet is getting far too elitist for my liking!

Anyway, all the arguments from people over there who are in favour of banning these cars have either not got them, or have been stupid enough to leave their rooms wide open to abuse by letting in cars they don't want. No PP, BHP or weight limits, any car can get into their Hondas Only drag lobby, for example. Where before it would've been the noob in a Veyron or Speed Twelve, now it's a whole different calibre of beast.
My online experience has been greatly boosted because of them, as the entire game was feeling completely stagnant, with a complete lack of any realistic power modifications and almost no modern relevance cars. The hybridized cars have reinvigorated my enjoyment of the game.

But, and here's where I would draw the line, I would strongly object if PD were to leave to doors wide open to the aforementioned abuse in one of their seasonal TT events. It would only take one complete moron to take the negatively PP'd X2010 into one of those events to shut then entire thing down for good. This one can even override the bhp limiting too, as tested online, we limited the room bhp to 98bhp, yet the 102,048bhp X2010 was still allowed to the track. It's this reason alone that I have taken mine off share, as it may get into the hands of someone irresponsible enough to do the unthinkable.

I massively applaud those who are creating these wonderful mutants, and look forward to getting some more (currently up to 12 in my collection, but really wanting more!)

@The people who already figure it out,

I've tried everything i could think of with HxD and so far I can't make any hybrids or even change the hp value on cars. I can change the money amount but that is all, I've got to a very frustrating point and i'm about to just give up even on the game itself. No doubt this is the one and only game I play and it has become my only hobby since GT1. After finishing the game to 100% then i lose interest so I end up modding the cars to add more entertainment till the next GT series. I have finished GT5 3 time to 100% cause i thought there wasn't a way to mod the cars, until now. I honestly don't run on the time trials due to I don't have a wheel so i don't even try them, but what i do most is drag racing and my goal on modding the cars is for to recreate real life max hp for drag racing only. So I ask you guidance on Hp hybridism so me and my fellow drag racers can enjoy a more realistic drag racing experience.

Otherwise I'll just quit playing GT5 in general and just wait till GT6 comes out.
