Apparently it's done through hex with the GT5.0 file from your save (perhaps it has to be decrypted first) . I am going to begin experimenting now. If anyone gets on to something please share! And I will share any progress I make as well.

Its weird because when i search my Cr. with HxD, they appears on 0000F270 offset :S not on 0000F280

That's unfortunate... Try this, at the time, I had Cr. 4,270,012. Try getting the exact same (or as close as possible) amount and then try my formula again. Maybe, the values need to be the same in order for it to work or something?

You do any other modification to the save? in param.sfo you change the Cr. or something? or just change the 01 31 2D 00 line?

Well, no. I've only been doing this hex stuff for what, 3, 4 hours? And on this website for 2? So, forgive me for not seeing your topic in such a long period of time!

EDIT: nevermind. Absolute success for me. I've done every mod that I want to now. =D

I do agree though, after the effort I put in to this, giving it out to everyone for free is silly. Anyone intelligent enough to just figure it out, is also intelligent enough not to use it for stupid reasons or endanger the sanctity of the game.

So when I get done decrypting the gt5.0 file using bruteforce, i go into HxD change the correct values to double the HP of my toyota 86gt, i get done, save it, encrypt it, then load it up on the ps3 and the hp of the car ingame hasnt changed. What am i doing wrong???
