SRT Tomahawk S Vision Gran Turismo
The Tomahawk S is the entry level machine to prep players for the incredible performance of the Tomahawk series; but the specs of the "S" are already off the charts. The 7.0-litre wide-angle V-10 is tuned to deliver 792 hp (compared with 645 hp for the 8.4-litre V-10 in the 2015 Dodge Viper). The pneumatically driven front wheels add 215 hp, for total system output of 1,007 hp. With a curb weight of 2,026 pounds, this version of the SRT Tomahawk is the heaviest, yet it has a top speed in excess of 250 mph.
SRT Tomahawk GTS-R Vision Gran Turismo
Race tuning pushes output of the V-10 to 1,137 hp, while the air-driven front wheels add 313 hp for a total system output of 1,450 hp. Aggressive weight-cutting techniques whittles the curb weight of the Tomahawk GTS-R to 1,459 pounds (the lightest of any version) and the top speed in excess of 300 mph.
SRT Tomahawk X Vision Gran Turismo
This is the ultimate Tomahawk that incorporates a variety of experimental technologies. With a redline set at 14,500 rpm, the V-10 engine pumps out 2,168 hp (nearly three times the output from the base Tomahawk S). The front wheel drivetrain contributes an additional 422 hp at peak, for a total output of 2,590 hp. That gives the Tomahawk X a top speed of 404 mph. Due to the extreme performance of the X version, the driver is required to wear a G-suit to withstand the extreme cornering forces
Oh Betone Design responsible for the VGT are not bankrupt, there is no canceling of the Bertone VGT
They released a facebook teaser not too long ago of a closer to complete VGT than the in game concept art and its probably getting its weirdness worked on working in the game lmfao, but there is no cancellation of it as of yet, the Icon is still in the VGT Dealership.
Some folks are thinking because Bertone went bankrupt that this project is done, but Ill say it again as I said before that is NOT exactly the company responsible for the VGT, Bertone Design bought the rights to use the name Bertone and the logo etc, probably employ many of the same people, who knows, but these are the guys bringing us the Vision Gran Turismo car, and they are not bankrupt...
One can look at the date on the concept art being 2015 and that's enough to realize the project is not dead due to any bankruptcy...
I don't like the Bertone VGT concept art, Pics, any of it. I like a streatch here and there but thats way too Tron Bike meets Dark Knight Batmobile for me. Im probably one of the few who doesnt like the Dark Knight Batmobile Lmfao, its just a fucking tank thinkingie, not very Batmobile for me.. I dont get the Bertone at all, that shits above my head at the moment...
You don't need it if you got cfw. Just build the car out of anything. I built one right after the update was released, I couldn't wait until GTAcademy Final Round.
the first thing we see is the car struggling. Its getting passed by LMP1 cars often and not making up any ground. However there are some interesting things I notice. The car is fast down the straights, when it hooks and power is getting put down the car goes by all the LMP1 close by however its loosing serious ground in the corner and on corner exit. The FWD only set up is hurting it. It can't power through apex like the Mid-Rear engine cars & clearly has trouble putting power down on exit. On a dry track its killing them, MAYBE with some rain the wet track will slow the other cars down in the corners enough for the LM NISMO to do better. I figure the other cars wont power out of corners as much or as aggressive dealing oversteer, where the NiSMO will be dealing with understeer and similar handling relatively.
I wonder if the Hybrid system in full effect will be much help.Surely it will help put down power exiting corners where power is currently lost on the fronts struggle to make grip, it should also help power through apex but will they have enough rear wheel power over a lap to really help? Will they have rear wheel power active through any speed corners or partially active and inside a speed window?
The System in the game sending all power to the front and at limited speeds would not help the car where it seems to be weakest in the real race. It will need RWD power and at lower speeds than 112mph.
The car to watch is #21 they seems to be getting faster as the race progresses
It's not all that surprising to see the NiSMO flop. It was expected if you asked many folks, I mean FWD vs MR, they have been using the MR recipe for decades because it works... The car currently is not even competitive at the LMP2 level, heck GT might be a more competitive class for it...
