Seriously the SB is filled with people saying " Hide yo PS3 , Hide yo PKG , Cause they banning everybody out here" . How many people have actually been banned over this ? If you were on PSHOME breaking the rules while you were on Geo hut it doesn't count . Please post proof (If you have any) , Don't say one of my friends got banned.

sony wont ban because ur usin a CFW which is basicly what the JB was

all they will do is try and patch it

if u have been banned then HA HA jks

sure i've been playing modded lobbies in mw2 online and i havn't been banned yet. besides der not gunna bother trying to ban anyone cause their in the middle of making the ps4 so im guessin that they will jus give up on the ps3

I'm going to have to ask about this one; since they removed OtherOS I haven't been interested in anything Sony make, my new TV is a Samsung and my new laptop is a Dell, so I haven't been reading up on the PS4.

I thought Sony brought out the Move to extend the PS3's lifetime by another two years to 6 instead of the usual 4 year cycle that has gone before it, thereby meaning the PS4 is still over a year away?

I thought the follow-up to PS3 was going to be PSX. It will be playing games and act as an installment to a Home Theater. Blu-Ray and everything like the PS3. More features to be leaked later, but that's all I know of. I heard about this August 2010. I maybe wrong, if I am please tell me why.

Yes they can. Cheating on a game isn't illegal, and they can ban you.

They can ban you from PSN for anything or nothing. It's their server, they chose who goes in and who doesn't.

That is the main one and yes it works, they are also working hard on the cross platform game play. Which I hope they get working alot better than it is right now.

Exactly like any other company they have the right to refuse Service. But they cannot damage or destroy your equipment, or make a new update the disables said equipment, However that being said, I would venture to say 40% of the PS3 market has tried or is running some sort of hack. and Sony doesn't want to loose that market share.
