The cause of your YLOD may be a bad power supply.

or u could just buy continous play when it brakes dont report it broken wait like 2 weeks then ring up say its got the YLOD and they send u a box etc and u get a refurbed ps3 happy days.

so u would rather buy a heat gun, heat compound rather then pay £5 i think the heat compound it self cost over £5
