I personally tested this with another account, and I can confirm that loading all of these saves should get you really, really close to a platinum. Aside from a couple trophies that take less than two hours to get. Just load up the saves, and then see what you have left. It should be pretty straightforward from there.

I only got up to 64%. Is there something special to do that i missed? I FTP files over and loaded up GT5. Clicked GT so i could see A and B Spec levels and trophies started, but not 90%. Yes i loaded every save.

This doesn't get you the full platinum?

Wtf why doesn't it work without FTP, the saves become corrupt with a USB.
