So we all know how EA & Activision have been butting heads to be the best first-person shooter out there. But did you know that EA is putting $100 million into making Battlefield 3 better than the Call of Duty franchise?

According to the You must login or register to view this content., EA CEO John Riccitiello announced this investment in New York. He said that it will positively beat down the HIGHLY anticipated Modern Warfare 3. If they're putting this much money into topping one of the best first-person shooters of all time, let's hope it's worth it.

In my opinion, I think a game that took over $100 million to make should be worth it. I mean, a lot of people love Battlefield, but even more people love Call of Duty. So it's going to be a tough match for EA.

It's BFBC3 all day! Well for me it is
It's always been about realism for me, and call of duty is more of a do whetever you want kind of game.
I like games where you need team work and skills.
Call of duty is all about who shoots first or who camps the hardest:/

I just think it's a little to early for EA to be calling out a game when a trailer hasn't even been released for it. For all we know this could be the best call of duty and destroy cod4. But meh. Battlefield is more entertaining then cod now so they might take over.

It is not about how much they put to make the game... it is about how much they put to convince the 10 years fan kids of COD franchise. COD is nothing compared to Battlefield in terms of quality
