So we all know how EA & Activision have been butting heads to be the best first-person shooter out there. But did you know that EA is putting $100 million into making Battlefield 3 better than the Call of Duty franchise?

According to the You must login or register to view this content., EA CEO John Riccitiello announced this investment in New York. He said that it will positively beat down the HIGHLY anticipated Modern Warfare 3. If they're putting this much money into topping one of the best first-person shooters of all time, let's hope it's worth it.

In my opinion, I think a game that took over $100 million to make should be worth it. I mean, a lot of people love Battlefield, but even more people love Call of Duty. So it's going to be a tough match for EA.

I think BF3 will come close to MW3 but there are so many fanboys out there that say IW is the best and that MW2 was 'the best game ever' and won't even give BF3 a shot

Going to get MW2 for the trophies and BF3 cus im a BF veteran =D

there are lots of games better then cod but people still stick with it

Graphics for this game look unreal. Worst thing is, usually the games that look this good are extremely clunky movement wise.

It's time for EA to finally step up and knock this piece of shit CoD out of sight once and for all.

No lie but i was a big COD fan since the first COD But they getting old i didn't even buy Black Ops cause same thing over and over just Diff Maps,Guns & Perks eh slightly and Graphics.Time For COD to Die Out:bye:, BF3 all the way

the main thing i hate about cod is the crappy short sp(i have no interest in mp)
an their goal of releasing dlc maps that cost 1/4 of the game itself

Good, there will be no 12 year olds on BF and be playing the shitty call of duty

Well if so, then i bet imma buy Battlefield. I know it's going to be better than the CoD. Cause Black Ops was so epic fail. I think i'm not gonna bother to buy Modern Warfare 3.
