(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So my father in law(lady's father), builds and maintains government network servers. He told us on sunday that if he owned the psn it would be up on tuesday, have already caught the hacker(s) himself then warned all users of the network that he was going to start charging for the usage of PSN just like XBL.

Then he said, but since he doesn't own it, that the PSN will most likely be completely restored, without the hacker(s) being caught on the following tuesday. With more security precautions that they have to pay for so they will most likely will start charging users just like XBL.

Besides: "cool story bro".

What i'm actually looking for is:

If the PSN does start to charge but their servers are more up to par as XBL's are. Would you stay with ps3 and pay for the subscription, or would you say eff it and just switch to Xbox, because their servers are already up to par?

IMO, I think that it would be more worthwhile to pay for the subscription, see if things are better for alittle while, connection wise. If not I'll purchase xboxes and keep the ps3's just for the first party releases and play all the third party releases, on the xboxes.

I already have both consoles! And since I already have my xbox live subscription I would sale my ps3 to make more money! Because I really don't feel like paying for both consoles!

I have both, but I would definitely not pay any PSN subscription fees. Not worth it at all. I'd keep Xbox Gold and stay with that. I'd use Xbox for all 3-rd party games and PS3 for all their exclusives.

If you are going to pay a subscription for PSN. Might as well pay for a better online service and overall experience... xbox live :carling:

On a serious note if PSN implements certain features and adds a bit more things (don't want to get into detail) I would definitely stick with PSN.

I have to be honest here.....
I have been a PlayStation System user since '95
I grew up with PlayStation. Whenever I played the xbox, I could not get used to the controller. I decided never to switch from the PlayStation Systems. But with more options arising in the gaming world, I would have to say, if Sony started charging for their online services, I would switch to the 360.

I would probably go to Xbox, but I highly doubt they will start to charge. If Sony is looking to lose like 50% of the people who play ps3, they yeah they should try to charge us, and see how people react. Once they charge us, now more people will try to hack sony haha.
