Then he said, but since he doesn't own it, that the PSN will most likely be completely restored, without the hacker(s) being caught on the following tuesday. With more security precautions that they have to pay for so they will most likely will start charging users just like XBL.

What i'm actually looking for is:

If the PSN does start to charge but their servers are more up to par as XBL's are. Would you stay with ps3 and pay for the subscription, or would you say eff it and just switch to Xbox, because their servers are already up to par?

IMO, I think that it would be more worthwhile to pay for the subscription, see if things are better for alittle while, connection wise. If not I'll purchase xboxes and keep the ps3's just for the first party releases and play all the third party releases, on the xboxes.

I have a 360 as well as a PS3, but i just bought a year of Xbox Live. So i would stay with XBL even though i prefer PSN.

ps£ is far superior to an childish xbox. if we had dedicated servers psn would be even more better, i for one am not even affected but the whole oh my god im lagging thing which people go on about, if you lag just leave the game, its no you its the host half the time so go get a decent lobby.

cod is the only game i have ever lagged on.

and paid PSN would be alot better and they would have money to spend on it (not saying they havent got the money to already) but its free and enjoyable.

1st who would be dumb enough to enter their credit card details on psn again.
also psn accounts aren't secure i mean it's easy to get someones email and hack them for their account after they have paid for their membership.
xbox360 on all levels is better than ps3 if you used to own an xbox buy 1 now if its been a long time since uve played it, youll noticed how better it is.

Really, When Ive played on Xbox (only cod) it goes really smoothly,
but on PlayStation there is so much lag, and No its not just the host or my internet connection.

hate to say it I'll make the full switch to xbox. Most games are made for xbox and just ported to the ps3.

why would we want a gay little avatar thats childish, we have a console to game which i suppose thats a xbox's job, but the ps3 is a 'gamestation' media console.

the connection its exactly the same, even better on ps3 if you tweek it in the settings.

the only thing i would say the xbox has over the ps3 is the fact the profiles load quickly, messages open faster and auto syncing achievements. but then again im not fussed about that atall.

im sure people can agree with me. im not trying to cause a flame war or console war but it it easily the superior console.

Quite alot of you are saying if PSN charges you will go get a xbox. Funny that you will be spending a extra £200 on a xbox then £40 a year on the subscription(unless you already have a xbox then i don't mean you). So you guys are willing to give up your playstation because it will charge you to go to another console that would be charging then same price.. That makes no sense. When you could save the £240 for the PSN. You guys are too childish one bad thing happens and you all jump ships.

Like other people said, depends on the fees.

The features offered for online on xbox are great. Like the party chat I really like that one. If they charged for psn they would have to have that.

Also PS3 would have to get the map packs at the same time as xbox too if we were paying for psn.

I think sony will probably charge now too because all the CC problems, they are going to get suied real bad (I hope)
