What i'm actually looking for is:

If the PSN does start to charge but their servers are more up to par as XBL's are. Would you stay with ps3 and pay for the subscription, or would you say eff it and just switch to Xbox, because their servers are already up to par?

IMO, I think that it would be more worthwhile to pay for the subscription, see if things are better for alittle while, connection wise. If not I'll purchase xboxes and keep the ps3's just for the first party releases and play all the third party releases, on the xboxes.

they certainly not going to start charging right now, who would pay for it after what's happening right now, there would be more people switching to xbox rather than start paying sony for psn

they have to regain the customers trust again first, rather than start asking them money

if things go better after these changes and they can proove us they have improved their service, then they can start thinking about charging for psn
