Ok I want to keep this thread as a BLOG, because I want people to input there knowledge into this thread.
What I found was DLC Maps are signed, so what I did to test this out was, grab the mp_shipment_load.ff file from my Cod4 disc, and paste it in the DLC mappack1 folder, to see if it would load the "loading screen"
However it didnt load, it just froze my ps3.. which mean the ff file is corrupt.
So I decide to swap over my other DLC "loading screen" file to a different map file.
This is what you get.
As you can see, im using the Killhouse loading image, for the map Creek. It works perfectly.
The only way we can get around to load custom maps, is to Open up the EBOOT_MP.bin which alot of people know how to do now, since Black Ops.
To change the excute name of the map, (So it will boot your Custom Map, not the DLC one)
And also, pasting in the header of the dlc maps into your cutom map.
I do know that, consoles dont carry IW iwd file, as it is all stored inside the .ff file of the map. So im not sure how to load the bsp images.

Are you sure those files are located on the Disk?
1. I believe you in a way, because all the textures and materials are located on the disc in the packfile1.pak
2. Maps like Chinatown, have unique texture. I have not seen a simular texture on any other map. This is why I thought to myself that all the textures are located within the .ff file.
Comparison
In the Mw2 map packs contain the map, but also the imagefile.pak which contain all the textures like "packfile1.pak" on Cod4.
But if we can edit the edat, do you think MW2 maps will work? maybe CoD2 maps? Toujane = Sex. haha
Every custom map for PC/Mw2 will work aslong as its compiled to work with cod4. The Cod4 DLC maps have a special header, and the edat controls the special header.
Maps like shipment within the cod4 game will not work if you put it in the DLC folder because, its texture meterials are separate. E.g. mp_shipment.ff mp_shipment_load.ff imagefile1.pak
The .pak file contain all the textures an images.
Maps In the DLC, here textures and image materials are embedded in the .ff file itself.

I found out that the EBOOT_MP.bin does not do anything with the DLC.
The option to your Bonus Maps on in the Cod4 maps settings, is used by this file
mappack1.edat
Ive researched about .edat files, and it says that these edat files were made by SONY, to give game developers ADD ons to there games.
If you delete the mappack1.edat from you gamedata, and start Cod4. The Option to view your Bonus Maps will disapear!
We need to find away some how to decrypt the edat file, so that it will load your map. Also this will enable you to add an extra option, with you map name.
The only problem now, is the maps in the DLC it self, I need to find away to compile everything into the .ff file. I may have to ask hunter123 for help on this one.

and just to tell you that you need COD4 SDK PS3 to create the .FF files + the Mappack1.edat *Encrypted Dat*
and finally the edat files wont run without activation so also you need to mod the act.dat

Wow, I didnt mean to put three, I typed that a like 5 in the morning, and the number 3 looked like an 8. Hunter adams knows alot about the ps3 console it self, not so with Cod4, but most Call of Duty files use sonys format.

i actually thought that hunter and unknown used the HDD decryption method and used the another game *Dark something* decryption for .FF decryption cause of the same header

mw2 CM`s will not work because there isnt any CM`s lol.

The DLC map is signed, so only that specific DLC will work with the specific maps. I think there is a header somewhere.
it will not work at all,the engine are completly different and will not load any previous/next maps from any other cods.
