Internet is the same and so is Sony Network. Let's do a review of points of failure here;
Local Network - Nope, able to ping router and get on internet
Internet - Nope, able to get on internet
Sony Entertainment Network - Nope, able to sign in and play just about any other game
Treyarch Servers - Woops, Housten, we have a problem!

Port Forwarding has NOTHING to do with our problem. Not having certain ports open is not gonna make the game not work. In fact I've been playing every COD at college without the ability to forward my ports (has to do with not having a bridged connection.) Having a closed port means that you will have problems joining matches, friends' parties, and problems with voice chat. The game will play fine besides that. But you are right it's on their end, it just has to be. And it's sad they can't man up, take the blame, fix it, and compensate us for loss time, wasted money, and reimburse the people who bought hardened and couldn't even take advantage of the 2x XP (like me.)

It would surely be possible here in Holland because making backups is legal and so is doing modifications on your own property and also agreements dont count that strong because we actually have our own laws we already agreed to a couple of centuries ago.
