( when in party press select and make sure " SEARCH PREFERENCES " is set to " LOCALE ONLY " )

1) find a game you want to play (can be wager match if you like)

2) when you click x on the game type wait for it to say 0:10 " Found XX Matches.... Getting Match Quality...." then turn ON your lag switch

3) leave your switch ON untill it says " Waiting For X More Players.... " ( or if it does what it did to me in the video 0:25, just do what i did )

4) wait for people to join your game

5) when ppl join get ready to flick your switch to save host from migration like in video @ 1:45

6) enjoy your game as host

Still no luck.

this time I did like you said and when it got to joining match 1 I turned the switch on and left it on....after a couple of seconds it said Joining lobby.

but after that it just sits there and does nothing....I even waited so long that my PSN signed out from no activity.

and even when I leave it off until the point that it says Joining lobby ...I tried turning the lag switch bag off and it just takes me back to where it says 50 potential matches found.

I am getting all of the "symptoms" I guess you could call it of what it should be doing like you described.

the only thing that is not working is the part where it puts me in a lobby that I am host of.

am I missing something?

here is a step by step break down of what I am doing.

lag switch is in the off position (normal internet connection).

I click on a game type (domination for example).

as soon as the message "50 potential matches" appear , I turn my switch ON.

I wait for it to say for example "trying to join 3 potential matches" at which point I turn my lag switch off and on in roughly 3 second intervals.....all the while the number of matches decreasing. ( I have tried flicking the switch in 1 second intervals,5 second intervals and so on but with the same result for what it counts).

when it reaches "trying to join 1 potential matches" I turn my lag switch back ON and leave it on.

after about 5 seconds go by it says "joining game lobby"

and thats it....thats as far as I can get it to go. If I leave the lag switch on my internet connection times out. If I turn the lag switch off, it returns to the 50 potential matches message

This is exactly what I do when trying the net tools udp flooder method n I get the same exact symptoms . It seems like the only game type I can get host is tdm. When I try domination it stays stuck at potential matches message

Did u make sure to set your connection to LOCATE ONLY by pressing select in the lobby?

Yu are doing everything rite. There are 2 reasons y it would say joining lobby. 1) your search settings are not LOCATE ONLY

OR 2) is cuz your NAT type is on anything but OPEN.
Leave your psn name on thi form And I'll add you after work to give u a hand
