( when in party press select and make sure " SEARCH PREFERENCES " is set to " LOCALE ONLY " )
1) find a game you want to play (can be wager match if you like)
2) when you click x on the game type wait for it to say 0:10 " Found XX Matches.... Getting Match Quality...." then turn ON your lag switch
3) leave your switch ON untill it says " Waiting For X More Players.... " ( or if it does what it did to me in the video 0:25, just do what i did
)4) wait for people to join your game
5) when ppl join get ready to flick your switch to save host from migration like in video @ 1:45
6) enjoy your game as host

If you would even have read what some of us have wrote and what the subject is about. Its So you can FORCE HOST lag switch.
which in my case I want to have the option to do because black ops matchmaking servers are ridiculous and being able to force yourself as host and actually be able to play a game with full green bars is worth it.
Far to often you get stuck playing a game where whoever has host has poor internet speed and your game is laggy because of it and you can shoot someone point black and not even get a hit marker ....and when you spend your time being frustrated with the game because of stupid stuff like that.....im going to do the lag switch trick so I can enjoy being host and playing a smooth match.
sure,there will be people out there that use the lag switch for all the wrong reasons, but there is really nothing you can do about it. and if ever you find your self on the opposing end of someone using a lag switch for the wrong reasons......just leave.
Anyhow @ thekid , like I was telling you on PSN , I can only get mine to give me host in a wager match but no luck on TDM or dom or search or anything like that.
not exactly sure what the deal is.

Try flicking the switch when ppl join b4 it says migrating like I do in the video

I'm using a SMC Networks EZ Switch 10/100
SMCFS8
( but it is not nessasary to have a switch box. U can just connect you lagswitch from router to ps3 or modem to ps3)
