Sick of idiotic teenagers trolling Call of Duty? Well, you're boned, because Treyarch has no interest in keeping the kids away from its games.

"I think it should be handled by the ratings board. I don't know a tremendous amount about UK ratings boards, but I do know that you have to be of that age to purchase the content, and if parents want to let their kids play it's completely at their discretion," said community manager Josh Olin. "I get where you're coming from, it's that maybe the kids are more obnoxious to deal with - but hey, they want to have their fun too, so I don't want to kill that for them."

While it would be easy to rage at Olin for these comments, I find them refreshingly honest. It's not often a developer would admit that kids play a distinctly non-kiddy game, and go so far as to state that it's not the studio's problem -- which it isn't, really.

Of course, this doesn't help the people who have to put up with morons on Xbox Live, but I admire a studio that doesn't pretend to give a crap when it distinctly doesn't. It's better than paying insincere lip service, at any rate.

At the end of the day all they care about is money. I remember when GTA SA came out and some fat mom approached him and was talking shit about the game.^^ Saying it wasn't right for kids. Some kids just can't handle M+ rated games. Others can.

Cake is a lie
Not sure why people focus on "kids" so much. Has "kid" become like the word "camper"??? Every death is from a camper and every annoying person is a kid?

People 18+ throw racial and homosexual slurs all game. I'll take a kid over some immature adult who plays COD just so he can pretend we're back in 1940.

Treyarch don't care because the more people that are playing it the more people to buy maps / add-ons etc = more money for them. so they dont care/

iTS not the kids who ruin the game its the adults with fancy programs who ruin the game by hacking The game.josh is right the kids want to have fun to Smile so let em
O yea and my 4 year old brother plays call of duty that's extremely under aged

I wouldn't be so sure of that, if I were you. Most "hackers" or in this case people using exploits and not really hacking, are teenagers between 14-18 years of age. The kids just like to kill people and fantasize about being a homocidal manic and the adults just wanna blow some steam off after a hard days work. Its the teenager who comes home after school and screams down his mic "WTF dude ima gonna hack your psn you piece of shit trolololllooollo"

At least I can fight
They should have matchmaking preferences where you can prefer to be with older people or people your own age
