Sick of idiotic teenagers trolling Call of Duty? Well, you're boned, because Treyarch has no interest in keeping the kids away from its games.
"I think it should be handled by the ratings board. I don't know a tremendous amount about UK ratings boards, but I do know that you have to be of that age to purchase the content, and if parents want to let their kids play it's completely at their discretion," said community manager Josh Olin. "I get where you're coming from, it's that maybe the kids are more obnoxious to deal with - but hey, they want to have their fun too, so I don't want to kill that for them."
While it would be easy to rage at Olin for these comments, I find them refreshingly honest. It's not often a developer would admit that kids play a distinctly non-kiddy game, and go so far as to state that it's not the studio's problem -- which it isn't, really.
Of course, this doesn't help the people who have to put up with morons on Xbox Live, but I admire a studio that doesn't pretend to give a crap when it distinctly doesn't. It's better than paying insincere lip service, at any rate.

Because the majority of kids are annoying as hell not just because for their high pitched voice but because of they want to act as adults and since the majority of adults that play cod or any online game acts immature you see many kids from this generation trash talking telling your mom jokes,etc. I dont remember kids from my generation trashtalking,etc. things that you watch daily from kids nowadays.

I realise its a 17+ game but people associate videogames with KIDS anyway. I play a shitload of games and I'm an adult but I find it silly that someone thinks 3arc or any other dev is greedy when the MAJORITY of videogamers are kids. Devs go for students and kids the most. Were you an adult when you played Mortal Kombat & GTA? Nowadays 35 year old men have the nerve to talk about kids playing videogames? LMAO
