Sick of idiotic teenagers trolling Call of Duty? Well, you're boned, because Treyarch has no interest in keeping the kids away from its games.

"I think it should be handled by the ratings board. I don't know a tremendous amount about UK ratings boards, but I do know that you have to be of that age to purchase the content, and if parents want to let their kids play it's completely at their discretion," said community manager Josh Olin. "I get where you're coming from, it's that maybe the kids are more obnoxious to deal with - but hey, they want to have their fun too, so I don't want to kill that for them."

While it would be easy to rage at Olin for these comments, I find them refreshingly honest. It's not often a developer would admit that kids play a distinctly non-kiddy game, and go so far as to state that it's not the studio's problem -- which it isn't, really.

Of course, this doesn't help the people who have to put up with morons on Xbox Live, but I admire a studio that doesn't pretend to give a crap when it distinctly doesn't. It's better than paying insincere lip service, at any rate.

Well what are they supposed to do, somehow stop little kids from playing it? They can be very annoying, but Treyarch put in a mute fuction for you to use. Mute them and kick their horrible zzirGrizz wannabe ass. :p

You have to realize that the developers of these games can't enforce anything themselves. What are they going to screen everyone who buys and game and see if they have a valid drivers license or photo ID to see how old they officially are. It has always been the responsibility of the parents and there are some parents that use video games as a time occupier so that they do not have to deal with their kids that they know are immature and need a good ass beating.
Which is why spoiled bratty kids grow up into spoiled bitchy adults and then the cycle continues. Smile

Are you high?
it all really depends on the persons maturity level and how certain people react to different things in the gaming environment.

I personally think you shouold be able to play it if you know the differnec between the game and reality,no matter what age...and you probably dont realise that NGU is full of tennagers so you just critisised them.
