So guys, I suggest you stop downloading ps3 hdd studio and stop buying sata cables because this is not the way. If you guys want to figure this out, your gonna have to find a way to re-write the offsets of the patch to the right places on the hdd and figure a way of getting the edited patch back onto the ps3. Also I suggest starting with CoD4 or W@W, as MW2 seems to be harder.. also hunter did not begin with MW2..

I thought I would be saving your time, but you guys now seem to think I'm coving my tracks. But I'm Unkn0wn so I don't need to cover my tracks (had to get that one in their

Anyway, I never said "OMFG STOP DON'T DO IT, OR SANTA WONT BE VISITING YOU THIS YEAR!" I just wanted to let you know that what you are doing will eventually be a waste of time. Also, you might be able to eventually get past the black screen but you will then find that when loading things you will receive another black screen.
I'm just trying to help. But if you don't want my help then keep going with whatever you think your onto. I can understand why you might want to test it out for yourself. You will eventually find that what I said is true.

plus I only got it running for 6 mins before my PS3 fryed up
and I didnt use the same method as everyone is speculating.

Im not having a moan at you 'Unkn0wn' or anything like that. But I'm just wondering, why would you now all of a sudden say that the hdd method doesn't work. I find it quite odd that you would say it now rather than earlier on. The way I see it is 'people are getting a good idea of hacking the hdd and are getting so much closer to finishing the steps which are needed to be done to complete the modding. And as users of NGU are getting closer to completing it you all of a sudden say it doesn't work. This may be you telling the truth and trying to save everyone time. Or this could be seen another way which is you trying to put people off track, waste their time and hope they don't get it done just so you can carry on getting coverage on NGU and other sites and also carry on making money.
Just a little something that popped into my mind. But I am not having a moan at you in any shape or form ! =D
