Do you think killstreaks ruin the game?

Here is why I think they should keep there killstreaks to a minimum.


Killstreaks, bring interest into the game. But the game gets interested into campers! If you play a game like "Black Ops" 90% of people on their are Campers. They depend on there killstreak, meaning they do NOT want to lose there streak. (Which means, people camp so they dont get killed.) Alot of people I know lose interest in the game, because there are more people flying around in Ac130's/Gunships, than a noobs that shoot his bullet!

This also means, false statistic.
Yours stats do not fit the co-ordination of other players, A real FPS player, uses his gun. If you see someone who has a higher KD/R than you, this is only because they constantly use there killstreaks and CAMP! It does not mean they are better than you, so what is the point of the leaderboards when they are false statements?

If your a previous FPS player, who plays older games like Cod4 or WAW. You enjoy playing these sort of games, because you have spent hours getting used to your personal gun, and you become a good Player! For people who crave there killstreaks, you kill 11 people with a gun your not long term used to, then you gain a rediculasly over powered killstreak, you get place on top with 30/40 kills over something so easy to do, seriously whats the fun in getting easy kills?

Whats the point in buying a games, if you let the game get kills for you?

I hope MW3, wont be packed with killstreaks. This will avoid campers!

wait i thought that it was already confirmed that the highest killstreak is gonna be 15.

I say we just go back to the CoD 4 style. 3 = UAV 5= Airstrike and 7 = Chopper.

I agree with you in a way, but really? What your pretty much saying is somebody who has a 1.00 KDR camps less than a player with a 1.50 KDR just because his KDR is lower?! Plenty of people earn their kill streaks without camping, and the people who do camp, are most likely bad at the game.

The point is too many gamers expect miracles with Call of Duty and their never will be one. MW2 wasn't perfect, neither was Black Ops, and neither will MW3 be. I can guarantee after a few day's of MW3 being released there will be many complaints about it.

Although it would be a good idea to reduce the amount of kill streaks to prevent as much campers. Whatever happens, every Call of Duty game will be full of camping noobs.

I've been playing COD since COD4, and I've played all the COD's that have come out. So nobody can say to me that I don't deserve my 3+ KD, because I do. I don't depend on killstreaks, because I know how to play without them, (over-powered ones anyway), like I did in COD4. :fyea:

Isnt there gamemodes where you only get the orginal killstreak like cod 4? go on that = problem solved?

Less Killstreaks, yes there we're campers in COD4 and W@W, but way less then there are now.

Robert confirmed he liked the play of COD4, less killstreaks, more gunfights.
He also said Killstreaks will get a whole new system.

60% of the times I died is because of killstreaks.
