(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Here's a good few points that I can think of right now as to why religion is a made up thing.

-There's millions (it seems like) of religions, how does one know they're in the "right" one?
If you were raised in a different country it's likely you would never even think about being the religion you are now. So what makes you think the one you're in is the "right" one? Everyone feels they're in the right one, if not they would switch and be a different religion.

-Prove it. I know you can't! It's just about faith and you believing in it. So if you believe in the flying spaghetti monster will it be real too? No.
There's more that proves religion is fabricated than proof that god is real.

I see religion as a thing to comfort people and make them think they're doing right and they have a purpose.

i honestly dont care what people think and beleive in. i think it is good for people to think that someone will reward them for doing good. i have no religion my self. i dont feel the need to have someone make me do good. i can do that all on my own. the only reason i will say i dont like religion is when the stupid religous nuts try to sit there and preech it to everyone. i dont care. just like the other day this jahova witness guy comes to my house with some papers and i was just gonna tell him to leave. then i notice he has his son with him who has down syndrome and i couldnt just be mean so i sat there and listened to his crap and then he was on his way. it really pissed me off that he was using his son like that so people feel bad and listen to him.

I still have a bet going that the major religions will genocide each other.
