(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was just looking through the debate section but I didn't see this surprisingly. Anyways, even though I play PS3, I think PC gaming is better. There's a reason people hack consoles you know.

Crysis 3 can barely play at 30FPS at well below 1280x720 on the consoles because the hardware is almost a decade old!

And building a computer really is quite easy. I was pleasantly surprised by that when I did my first build a couple of months ago.

You will probably be able to run it, but the gameplay would not be tolerable unless your hardware isn't that outdated.

As for building a computer, it might be easy but takes a lot of time off your hands.

Just another note to you guys above - you can easily build a console-priced PC that'll far exceed what consoles can achieve. Beyond that you also have an open operating system and the ability to upgrade at will.

Don't believe me? Check out /r/buildapc and /r/buildapcforme on Reddit for some budget builds.

I dont know what your talking about, most games that run on old hardware wont run at all, and if your lucky there will be severe issues at best going on with your computer and the game, worst case scenario your computer will crash- due to expending all of its resources running a game that requires a lot of horsepower, or just more then what your PC can offer- which is usually low considering if your on a budget, PC prices just keep raising and raising.... and if your looking for a custom made PC forget about it. Scrap metal is your only option, and even that costs.

Just noticed this as I never read your post except for the title and proceeded to giving in my opinion. The amount of hacks on PC are most likely equivalent to the amount of hacks on consoles.

Not really. I can go out and get a PS3 with 3 games for $300.

If I'm building a PC with no prior materials, it's gonna cost a lot more no matter how you cut it.

Wrong. Here's an example build from PC Part Picker that is slightly more powerful than the consoles, and has the ability to be upgraded.

The CPU is an APU and can manage over 30 FPS at 1280x720 on the medium preset on Skyrim - that's around about or slightly over what the consoles play at.

Along with all this you have the ability to upgrade at will and do whatever you want with your system.

And it goes well below $300 if you already have a sufficient hard drive, which most people do.

Respectfully you have no idea what you're talking about. Parts get largely cheaper when you custom build as you're not paying for labour, or anything on-top of that.

If what you said had any validity it'd also apply to consoles as they're just outdated, heavily locked down PCs. There's a reason as I've already said that Crysis 3 plays at something like an upscaled 720x480 at the lowest settings and barely manages 30 FPS on the consoles.

You didn't get it. People hack consoles for more freedom. To be able to do more than a regular console. I'm basically saying that people hack consoles to make them more like PCs.

Both Consoles and PCs are good it their own way. Consoles are made for gaming so Im giving my vote to Consoles.

I would have gone with PC gaming but assembling a PC takes too much time and having to upgrade parts (such as graphics cards) to be able to run new releases efficiently is a pain in the ass. While on the other hand, consoles are much more simpler with a setup and play and you wouldn't need to upgrade it's technical specs (which I'm pretty sure you can't) to run new releases.

I hope I was clear enough. Smile

takes 10minutes bro and also if you spend $500 smartly the price a decent desktop/laptop cost you can have a nice rig that last a year or 2 then you sell the whole pc for $500 and build another its simple

crysis 3 was made for the console it has a high premium to get 50fps at ultra but looking at what it takes for recomended it can be done in a well bought $400 gaming tower with ease crysis 1 a real pc exclusive is still a pretty tough game to run at ultra and its many years old.

way underpowered pc for the pricepoint i can fit a 5800k and a aftermarket cpu cooler to overclock and with a apu always use 1866hmhz ram it will make a world of diffrence
