You're missing a monitor
Come on Trenton, consoles require a TV or monitor too. FYI PCs can use TVs just fine.

plus the fact with the PS3 I already have gotten 3 games.
Plenty of components come with free games, primarily video cards. I got Hitman, Sleeping Dogs and Far Cry 3 with my video card. On-top of that games are generally cheaper on the PC, piracy is easier if you are so inclined and you won't have to pay for stuff like Xbox Live.

Assuming you don't get one, then you will be using your television which may not work in many situations.
Example? I've never had this problem. Prior to my current setup I used three different TVs, no issues.

Consoles will more often be cheaper on these basis

not to mention things like Playstation Plus which are great services.
Similar optional services exist for PC.

Consoles are meant to be separate from PC's for exclusivity in gaming.
Yes, but they end up just being locked down PCs that can only do one thing. Unless you can't manage a few hours putting a custom build together then you'd have to be one lazy f*ck to choose a console.

This being said, I definitely like PC gaming, but it can get costly
It only gets costly if you want to exceed what the consoles are capable of. If you're content with console-performance then it costs the same price, and you don't have to buy a general-purpose PC as you already have one.

is difficult to play with friends at your house.
Is it? You can plug in a number of controllers and get them to work as far as I'm aware.
And that's a good point above from Toke. On a PS3 you can't party chat, and on a 360 you can however the lag, poor microphone quality and limit to the number of users in a single chat means that the PC is far superior in this aspect - one I would consider to be crucial to a gamer.
