You can mod your GT5 save file to change the horsepower on the cars. I am dying to figure this out. Apparently it's done through hex with the GT5.0 file from your save (perhaps it has to be decrypted first) . I am going to begin experimenting now. If anyone gets on to something please share! And I will share any progress I make as well.

Me, Dee, JordanCarr and DEREKTROTTER have spent ages analysing countless saves, comparing them byte-for-byte, attempting endless value editing and tons of research on every different value... nothing.

So what if you analize a Hybrid car?

Yep, tried to edit the data just now, and the text in front of the insertion point gets eaten up.

Like FruStrated said, we should just wait until slim355 AKA Transformers AKA SchewterMcGavin releases software made explicitly for creating hybrid cars (GT5 Workshop).

There are loads of people creating them now.

Any updates on the GT5 Workshop? I downloaded HxD and Bruteforce Save Data (as specified in this thread), and I'm at a dead end. Only interesting thing that I found is that if you open "PARAM.SFO", you can see your current credits, current car, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Would just like to point out that investigating the PARAM.sfo will get you no-where; everything is inside the GT5.0 file. The PARAM.sfo file is simply there so the game can boot properly etc.

So although the program hasn't been publicly released, there are a few people out there who have the program (who have dupe traded it to their friends via USB, and those friends dupe trade to their friends via USB, and so on)?

Sorry if these questions seem stupid, just asking because there's a lot of rumors floating around.

Forza has some cars what GT5 doesnt have. Why not to transform them to GT5 like GTA IV modders did. Every GTA IV car mod is from Forza or GT5 or NFS (mostly Forza).

Would you want cars like Aston Martin DB5 or Ford Mustang Shelby Gt500 2013 to GT5.
