Apparently it's done through hex with the GT5.0 file from your save (perhaps it has to be decrypted first) . I am going to begin experimenting now. If anyone gets on to something please share! And I will share any progress I make as well.

you will be glad you figured it out for yourself.

I'm all for the non abuse of Gran Turismo online, all though I agree with you skyline, the people who have obtained their high ranks legitimately through Online Rankings ie fastest time on such and such race events will suffer for this tool being released (if it ever does)

But at the same time I would love to see it being released for the sake of my own satisfaction of being able to make different chassis cars and engine swaps in different cars, I mean how funny would it be to drag race someone on Indy with a 4wd Samba Bus with say... a GTR engine in the thing

even if you could limit the tool to change values to a certain amount say 1000bhp or lower then I would still be happy and grateful for that :p

IMO it's more fun to learn these things yourself
