I mean it will make it really easy for "noobs" to just hack their ps3.
Someone else will do the work and effortlessly everyone else can now do it.
For all the people who have bought 3.41 ps3s they have wasted their money. ( until sony patch it)

Many people will do this to host hacked lobbies but those who charge people will now have less customers as so many people will do this and they will now be loads more people hosting.

In the long term running homebrew apps will be cool to do on a 3.55 but im not sure

It can be patched but going to get broken again
It would need a complete rewrite of what went wrong new keys etc

Problem is that means a software war like the PSP and well that failed.....
Only thing sony can do now patch it and give us a carrot along with the stick , hope that carrot enough for people not to use it.

This is a test for sony japan to see if they have the balls to do something new

impossible to be patched sony would have to recall EVERY single game and reencrypt those also the demos, dlc and shit so no it wont happen no need for a poll.

According to some members it can be, but it will stop the games we all bought and own from working. So sony must include a whitelist to make these work. (what i have heard from other posts)

Eh update wise it cannot be patched, will need a whole new system. I would like Sony to do their BEST though and not give up as it won't even be worth buying games anymore do to piracy and people cheating all the damn time. Think the PSP.

What if they removed the feature to update VIA USB??
of course this will block it once you update then, but then there the service mode update. But then again that mode became availble through an update, so sony could remove it from there to.

It's going to be a nuisances seeing everyone running around with hacks.
