Also another reason they go for so many platinums is because they want to show off like for instance I see some people of my friends list change there message to got my 10th platinum don't know why else they would put that message other than to show off and make other people jealous. So do platinums mean anything to you what are your opinions do you care about getting the most platinums than your friends or don't you bother because its too much time consuming or its hard to get platinums these days.

People like that are ignorant to the rest of the world. They don't realize that small bits of data don't mean anything in this world we call life. Trophies are meant to be boredom killers and extend the replay value of a video game. To show off with it is ridiculous. If they want to show off, they can show off a real trophy they got for talent, not some image on something that will never matter.

They don't mean anything other than to entertain gamers.

hey i bought hannah montana because it was an easy platinum, lol, i need help. its started to get an addiction, started off my mate had 8 platinums i wanted to beat him , hes now on 22 while im cruising on 46.
as soon as i get that platinum the game is straight on ebay, i the game until i cant stand it no more i would say only 10% of my platinums i enjoyed getting, bloody stressful sometimes. it takes the fun out of it.

I don't even know how many trophies I have, nor do I care. There are no point in them, in my opinion. I don't try to get trophies at all.
