Also another reason they go for so many platinums is because they want to show off like for instance I see some people of my friends list change there message to got my 10th platinum don't know why else they would put that message other than to show off and make other people jealous. So do platinums mean anything to you what are your opinions do you care about getting the most platinums than your friends or don't you bother because its too much time consuming or its hard to get platinums these days.

i like getting trophies in general. only platinum i have is MW2 but that was pretty easy. now black ops on the other hand on veteran is impossible so i gave up on that. i hate games that make you do stuff online to get trophies like LittleBigPlanet and GTAIV. those 2 are the closest to platinums i have but its stupid how you need to do stuff online for it.

i like getting platinums if the game is fun..but thats about it.. its a crappy game then i wont play it..

I think they show your dedication to playing a game. My 7 platinums were to games i played like crazy like Fallout 3, New Vegas, GTA4, MW2, etc.
