Also another reason they go for so many platinums is because they want to show off like for instance I see some people of my friends list change there message to got my 10th platinum don't know why else they would put that message other than to show off and make other people jealous. So do platinums mean anything to you what are your opinions do you care about getting the most platinums than your friends or don't you bother because its too much time consuming or its hard to get platinums these days.

Honestly, I don't have much to do so I just go after them for the looks. I like just completing a game 100% that I spent 60+ bucks on. I've 2 accounts, beaten 2 games 100% on both accounts just for fun.

I don't really care, it's just fun. If I had things to do though, I put my controller down and do it unlike many other people.

I like to get them, but not as much as my friends, this poll doesn't have all options.

it makes playing the game a little more fun actually gets you into playing a game you paid money for so i think its a good idea for trophies on psn

They mean nothing to me, if they gave me something cool, then maybe I'd try to get em.
But generally the games don't keep my attention for that long that I want to do it

I get platinums because, for 1, i enjoy it, for two i don't feel i've fully completed/beaten a game until i've platted it, also it doesn't necessarily mean somebody's showing off if they put how many plats they have as their comment, they may be proud of themselves and feel good about the amount of platinum's they have..
