So we all know how EA & Activision have been butting heads to be the best first-person shooter out there. But did you know that EA is putting $100 million into making Battlefield 3 better than the Call of Duty franchise?

He said that it will positively beat down the HIGHLY anticipated Modern Warfare 3. If they're putting this much money into topping one of the best first-person shooters of all time, let's hope it's worth it.

In my opinion, I think a game that took over $100 million to make should be worth it. I mean, a lot of people love Battlefield, but even more people love Call of Duty. So it's going to be a tough match for EA.

I think it really is a big risk to take because you know COD fans will stick playing it, and because of it succeses like CO 2 & 4. Greating a new top game is really hard, doesn't matter how much money you have!

What the devs fail to understand is that cod fans play cod simply because its cod not because its good.

Battlefield 3 looks too confusing and the graphics make it like Ghost Recon. I don't think it's going to be a success.

yea the 8th installment of the series because of its high popularity lets be honest guys look at the numbers cod always wins the title of the best fps of the year since cod4 yea battlefield may be a little more realistic because of the graphics and multiplayer but cmon iTS A F*CKING GAME not real life idk but ill stick with mw3 maybe because i like more the arcade style based war games look at mag for example with all its realistic game modes and it s*cked balls.

I don't get this shit, Battlefield is a whole other aspect of FPS then COD, you cant ****ing compare them, Battlefield isn't as fast phased as COD is, if you want to beat COD or COD want to beat Battlefield, then Battlefield must also have small maps and fast phased combat.

They are both different games.
